Half the family has been on Spring break this week.
While the Geek and the Handy Husband have been commuting to college and working in California respectively (I swear each would actually prefer to be in the others shoes right now!).....the rest of us have been trying to complete all those things that you don't have time for when they're in school.
In between, it's actually stopped raining.
With the garage still to sort out before tomorrow's great city-wide clean up, I had planned to fly by the blog with a quick pic of my latest F.O (yes, I finished something!) but it was not to be. Picasa has chosen today to play 'silly buggers' and won't let me upload my images. After an hour of trying to work out why it's not automatically uploading everything as soon as I plug my camera in...........I've decided to give up and go home. You'll just have to wait with baited breath until next week!
In the mean time, the sun's come out. They say it'll finally stagger over 50F today.......
.....I'm leaving a sign on my desk.......
"Gone Fishing!"
PS. Have a great weekend!
PS. Have a great weekend!
Good for you! I remember those too-few glorious days this time of the year. Take advantage while you can! Can't wait to see your FO.
ReplyDeleteYeah! Isn't the sun glorious? Enjoy that fishin'!
ReplyDeleteFishing weather here too!
ReplyDeleteit's brightened my day, not to mention got loads of washing done..the joys of motherhood!
LOL! I've been loading my new machines like crazy today too. Spring cleaned the storage area in the garage as well. Amazing what a little sunshine can do!
ReplyDeleteWe worked on spring cleaning during the kids spring vacation, too. It was very satisfying to let go of a lot of "stuff" we didn't need anymore. Enjoy the sunshine -- I hope it sticks around a little while for you.
ReplyDeleteI gave up on picasa. Last time I used it I ended up with duplicated files of ALL of my images in iPhoto. Thousands of them. It's a mess! All I needed picasa for was to make photo mosaics for my blog. Definitely not worth the trouble!
ReplyDeleteP.s. You have another week before the city cleanup day :)
Suddenly realised that this morning Kimmie. Guess what? I'm now ahead for once! :-)
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great weekend - can't wait to see your new projects. I've just finished reading 'The Beach Street Knitting Society and Yarn Club' (what a title - seriously, I was almost embarrassed to have that blatant chick lit on my nightstand, was braced for ridicule by LK) - anyway, that and your blog made me want to pick my needles back up again........thanks for the constant inspiration!
